Command files are automatically closed when the end of the file is encountered.

In Windows NT only, there are ways, but it's not recommended. In the
forthcoming GUI version of Kermit 95 you'll be able to do this, but until then
it's best to use the scrollback keys (or more precisely, kverbs -- which
can be assigned either to keys or mouse events).
